INTERNSHIP

The Bead Society of Greater Washington D.C. (BSGW), the original donors of the Bead Collection, remains committed to the proper archiving of their collection and to promoting research on beads. To that end the BSGW, supplemented by donations from the Bead Society in Los Angeles, CA, have made available funding for three internships for Yale students - basically full support for one semester, with completion of a specified project as a goal. The most recent such internship, to graduate student Gabriel Prieto, was used for digital imaging of beads and the creation of a related web page.
